Within the Spliethoff Group, BigLift Shipping handles all heavy, over-sized and special cargoes and custom engineered transport solutions. BigLift has a modern fleet of four heavy transport vessels and 21 heavy lift vessels, including the Spliethoff P8-Type and P14-Type and the Chung Yang CY-Type.
All the heavy lift vessels are equipped with their own gear with lifting capacities up to 2,200 mt and some have a ro-ro capability for loads up to 2,500 mt. The heavy transport vessels are capable of handling individual ro-ro cargoes of 16,000 mt a piece.
